À propos de moi...

Je me présente, je m'appelle ...
Bonjour, comment allez-vous ?
Bonjour! My name is Stéphanie Raimbault. I was born in Versailles in France. In my youth, I grew up in Laval, an old medieval town in the department of Mayenne in western France. When I was about 20 I moved to Paris to study at the Sorbonne, the University of Paris, where I received my degree in FLE, "français langue étrangère."
I have been teaching French for non-native speakers for 15 years and have taught at several international language schools, integration courses in community centers and business French for companies.
In short: to people from almost all over the world.
Passionate about the French language and culture, I convey this passion to students in a playful and creative way.
I use an approach that, in addition to grammar and writing skills, focuses largely on fluency and conversation. In fact, I find it important that we speak in French right from the first lesson. Of course, I adapt my lessons to the individual motivation and everyone's level so that everyone learns to express themselves in French in an enjoyable and casual way right from the start.
Until December 2016, I was Director for the language institute l'Atelier 9 in the heart of Paris. One of my tasks there was putting together the teaching and course program. There I learned a lot about different teaching methods, the value of cultural and creative activities to complement the program and the composition of teaching groups.
I have been living in the Netherlands since the end of 2016. I enjoy continuing to teach and would love to introduce you to the beautiful French language and our rich culture!

"My husband and I attended a small language school in Paris where we were very lucky to have Stéphanie as our teacher. We spent ten weeks with her doing an intensive course. Stéphanie was such a delight and we enjoyed the experience so much that we returned the following year for another six weeks. She is incredibly patient and an inspired teacher. We particularly liked how she used literature, poetry and music to help us learn in an interesting environment.
We would not hesitate to recommend her as a teacher."
